Building kinesthetic tools to un-stick the stuck places in your life and relationships.

Body-based approaches give us the ability to move beyond just learning about our issues and understanding ourselves.

Body-based approaches give us concrete strategies to shift behavior and ways of thinking that get in the way of what we long for right now.

A person with light skin and a large brown moustache wearing a mustard yellow knit beanie, large black glasses with clear lenses, a patterned shirt, and a brown curly fur coat.

Two decades ago, I was a work-all-the-time perfectionist youth organizer whose high stress juggling-too-many-balls super cerebral lifestyle left me feeling sick, anxious, disconnected from my body, and unable to consistently live my values in my relationships.

Bad news.

Despite all my brilliant thinking, what really helped me start to heal, both from the social justice work I had pursued for so long as well as unhealed childhood trauma, was to listen to my body: finding ways to increase my capacity to feel big emotions and big sensations and practicing changing my patterns of action to line up with what I really wanted in my life.

Seeing such profound changes in my life made me want to share these tools with others. I am so excited to have the opportunity to partner with individuals and folks in relationships to build more tools that align with your values and the things you want most in this life.

You deserve to live and thrive.

You deserve to live as much as you’ve survived.

You deserve to have relationships that are safe, fun and loving.

You deserve to figure out what you long for most and live as close to that longing as possible.

Are you ready to begin?

Bruin has been a catalyst for some of my deepest healing. The space that he creates has allowed me to unfold parts of myself that I hadn't previously felt worthy or safe enough to share with anyone. His gentleness, nuggets of wisdom, and ability to ask simple questions that help to reframe stuck thought patterns has been super helpful.

Bruin has helped me respect the power and strength of tenderness; the revolutionary struggle of slowing down and accepting guidance from my body.”
