Before i started Wise Body, I spent over a decade supporting young people in racial, economic, gender and disability justice campaigns.

Understanding the systems that we live in, and the ways they impact us is core to sustainable healing that is actually relevant and effective.

My healing work is deeply politicized because that’s what actually creates effective and relevant healing.

Trauma is intergenerational and systemic.  Healing also need to be intergenerational and systemic.

My identities and the identities of my clients impact the way we have survived and also impact the tools we want to build.

The systems of oppression that govern our larger world impact the ways we all survive and also impact the tools we need to build.
