Somatic Awareness.
Somatic awareness is about fine-tuning our cognizance of the body at the level of sensation.  Developing skills to notice sensations helps us be self-responsive in the moment based on what's actually happening rather than what's happened in the past or what we think might happen in the future.  When we recognize our habits and reactions, we can also notice what we long for and where to leverage our courage to change.
