My coaching work draws on my many years of youth organizing and building movements for social justice and liberation.  These experiences have made me cognizant of the profound impact of unhealed trauma and oppression.  In somatics, we find tools to heal.

Systemic and individual transformation are deeply symbiotic.  Healing must be interwoven in our movements for social change.  We need embodied practices to access skills around negotiation, accountability, resilience, community-care, sustainability, access, alliance-building, and conflict.  In envisioning the better world we want to live in, we want to build the capacity to reinhabit our bodies and practice a quality of interaction that reflects justice and liberation.

There are ways to heal.  There are also ways to be in action or in practice that bring us closer to what we long for, transform our movements, and bring more resilience, joy and authenticity to our work.  There are ways to live justice and liberation more tangibly within ourselves and with each other.

I am excited to be in practice and in learning with you.  I am humbled by your courage and your longing.
